About us

Hi, this is us

A group of young people from Puglia united by a passion for the sea and a desire to promote our land. Raised among breathtaking landscapes and crystal-clear waters, we decided to create a tool that simplifies the tourist’s experience, enhancing their beach holiday and helping them discover hidden treasures.

That’s how PuntoMare was born: a mobile app that, thanks to a proprietary algorithm, offers accurate information about sea conditions and swimming-focused forecasts, helping you choose the perfect place to enjoy the sea in safety every day.

Is the app free?
Yes, the app's core features are completely free. Some additional features and services are available for a fee.
Is it available in other languages?
PuntoMare is currently available in five languages: Italian, English, French, German and Spanish.
Do I need to register?
Registration is required to access some of the app's services and features.
How are your marine forecasts different from standard ones?
Unlike traditional forecasts, which give general sea information for large areas, our forecasts show the sea conditions at every single beach. Thanks to a colour-coded map (green, yellow, orange and red), you can tell at a glance whether the sea will be calm, slightly rough, rough or very rough, for every hour of the day.
How does the chatbot work?
Our virtual assistant, Punto, uses artificial intelligence to help you make the most of your seaside holiday. You can ask it questions, get advice on beaches, activities and experiences, and receive suggestions based on your interests and preferences.
How can I report a problem or bug in the app?
You can report it directly from the “Errors and anomalies” section. Our technical team will take charge of your report and work to fix the problem as soon as possible. Your feedback helps us improve PuntoMare and give you an ever better experience.
